Up here where I live it is only just getting warm enough to go out without
a jacket on, which makes it one of my favorite times of year.
All Winter people have been locked up indoors, inactive, never far from
food. Heavy Winter clothes hide the changes, but now, suddenly, you can see
it.
I passed a young woman walking down the street yesterday afternoon, who's
jeans were skin tight around her hips. Her belly swelled out over the top
of her jeans a bit, and her t-shirt was snug, showing the dimple forming
around her belly button, and straining over her breasts. Speaking of
breasts, I think she needs to move to a more supportive bra with the added
weight, because even at a gentle walk her breasts were bobbing
delightfully. She couldn't help but smile at the gorgeous weather,
revealing the start of beautiful double chin.
This particular woman is just one example that stands out in my mind. Walk
down any busy street and you will see several others in a similar state,
all but bursting out of their clothes. I always find these newly plump
women make me think of Spring, lush with new life, like buds on a tree. I
know the weight is actually the result of Winter, not Spring, and that most
of them will wither during the rest of Spring and Summer, that lush flesh
gradually shrinking like a pond in a dry spell, instead of growing ever
more abundant until they spilled out of their clothes like a Spring
torrent, as I would fantasize them doing. Still, I can't help but think of
them as the budding beauties of Spring.
