I once wrote a corney story about a colony for Fat People that lived on the Moon. There is a great website where you can find what you would weigh on different planets. Check it out.

I weigh 42lbs on the Moon, 96lbs on Mars and 645lbs on Jupiter.

There are several classic s-f stories written about the idea of fatness in space: perhaps the best is Jack Vance's "Abercrombie Station," which I first remember in an anthology collection called The Science-Fiction Weight Loss Book.

Screw the moon!!

I only weigh 28lbs on Pluto, that's where I'm headed. I hope they have lots of flights of stairs I can bounce up!

LOL

Fun link--thanks!

Well, if I went to Jupiter, I'd probably be immobile. I think I'll take that trip to the moon, and have some fun playing volleyball. Who's with me?

I'm 25.7 on the moon, and 58.4 on Mars... Jupiter bumps me up to 392.6...

Cool, I'd weigh only 75lb on the Moon! But my engineer husband pointed out that first I'd have to endure 4 or 5 G-forces during blastoff from the Earth so I'd literally weigh a ton. Whoa! I wouldn't make it through that.
