I was told by someone that my avatar was taken from here and put up in the Fat and Gaining Group. To whoever did this, can you please take it down? If I wanted it up there I would have put it there myself.

Thank you.

The MSN Fat and Gaining Group is run by a person whose name is (or resembles) David Sladsky. A year or two ago he (or someone with administrator rights on his site) took over a dozen (some say it was 20) thumbnails from the Dimensions Chat rooms and put them up in the MSN Fat and Gaining Group. This was totally without permission and created quite an uproar at the time. After a nuimber of months of effort they were taken down.

Apparently history is now repeating itself. This and similar incidents are why many (including me) never post pictuires on the Internet. Sladsky is by no means the only offender! You will probably need to determine yourself exactly where on his site the pictures are and then formally and personally demand from him that they be removed.

Thanks for the responses. I did not put a full size version on here intentionally so that it would not be published somewhere else. I know that folder it is in. I just thought that if I posted this message here perhaps the offender would take it down without me having to ask the group owner.

It's déjà vu all over again. 5 or 6 years ago when I was starting to get the hang of this internet thingamabob, I regularly posted and/or sent out photos of myself. Then someone showed me that some of my pix were on a joke web site with a cattle brand on my ass, and the caption "I feel the Earth MOOOOve!" Luckily that web site was soon shutdown, so I probably wasn't the only offended party. Ever since then, I've been mighty careful with my pix.

That's why I will not post my face on my pictures. At least that will limit anyone putting it on most sites. But, people should not take it upon themselves to post any pictures that are not their own. It's
just common courtesy. And, although I am not intentionally gaining, if I get a little fatter so be it. This is the only place that I would have my picture up so, I know it's from here.
Thanks for the response and sorry for your bad experience!

Yeah that's the same group that had the images from when I was SIXTEEN years old and banned me when I asked them to remove them.

Well, I will take this as a warning and take care not to post any pics that someone might steel and use in this manner. Sheesh. How rude!

I thought that was "print screen". You're right about one thing though, what kind of idiot steals a thumbnail? On the plus side most of these people haven't yet figured out how to download a pic that they can't right click.

This kind of stuff really irks me. Letting people get away with this kind of crap and just never posting another pic ever again not only sends the wrong message, but (more importantly) deprives me of pix. So I'm doubly irked. Here's some info that might help you do something about this incase you overestimated the poster's conscience or level of involvement here.

Sladky's email is theinflator@aol.com

The guy who's been posting thumbnails goes by, "Stretchingmybelly", but his profile doesn't list an email.

The URL to report problems to msn is http://groups.msn.com/feedback.msnw

If such a time existed it would be my dawn. Unfortunately the vehicle does not exist that could get you here in time. I guess we'll have to call it off.
