Limited Edition Foods should be banned!!!

I HATE it when they come out with Limited Edition flavors & you NEVER get them again!! I just wanna go & scream at the Pringle people!!!

They came out with the best flavor of Pringles I've ever had { Salsa Verde }, best chip I've ever had in my life!! When I went back to the store to buy a few cases because I knew it was a limited edition there were no more..................:( I went to every grocery store in my city ..............all gone. :( I even wrote the Pringle company & begged them to let me buy a few cases, they wouldn't let me :(

Then Edy's decides to tortue me more with Limited Edition Apple Pie ice cream!

I WILL NEVER NEVER NEVER buy another Limited Edition Flavor again!

LOL no way not anymore............I use to not think anything about it till now after experiencing THE BEST CHIP EVER .....I'm crushed :(
I can gurantee limited editions are off limits for me, I LOVE food too much to be teased like that.

Rhonda, Not sure how you feel about Doritos, but they recently came out with a Salsa Verde version, nice and spicy! The bag is kelly green.....I know it isn't pringles, but maybe they can help a little!!

Thank You Gurl! I never noticed them, I'll give them a try but I'm still wanting the Pringles................they were soooooooooooooo good. Did you get a chance to try them? Man the flavor was awesome & the chip OMG it was crisp & crunchy & when you put it in your mouth it would almost melt. Man I LOVE those chips!

Sometimes the "Limited Editions" become an annual event. Like you can always get them during the same period of the year, so you may yet have a chance. I know Hagaan-Daas always has Bailey's Ice Cream this time of year. At least they used to. Hope they still do, that stuff is great.

And there is always the chance that a successful limited edition will become a regular flavor. Witness the success of white chocolate Reese's Peanut Butter Cups for instance.

Three years ago I was addicted to a Turkey Hill limited edition ice cream.
My friends and I went on a witch hunt to find those half gallons everywhere!
I was sad when we eventually couldn't find it anymore.

Now, I find it very funny that I don't even remember what flavor it was. :p

Rhonda, I think I might be joining you in your lament come January. I have just tried the Cherry Cordial Hershey's Kisses..... whoaaaawow... they are so so good. I may horde a bunch and keep them in the fridge. I am going to see if I can freeze them! But I will prolly just have a bunch now, flounder on them and then never want them again.

I was in love with the white chocolate kisses witht he dulce de leche filling, but they got old after a while.

My pet peeve is the Wendy's Bacon Mushroom Melt, the greatest burger of all time. When they become available, I eat a million of them, and then just like that, they're gone. After suffering through the 5 stages of grief, and a lot of hard tears along the way, I finally reach some level of acceptance. The Bacon Mushroom Melt is out of my life, hello again, Big Mac. But then the vicious cycle begins all over again. Wendys taunts me with their commercials and hypnotizes me into the 40 minute drive for my nearest fix. They're toying with me and I don't like it. Sorry for the rant, but it's good to get it off my chest.

OMG GURL!! I get the same way! so nice to see another lady as passionate in her love for food as I am. These Pringles are killing me..............& it's like you can just almost taste it but then WHAM! reality smacks ya in the face .........no more for you! UGH!! I remember the first can I ever bought.........I usually eat a few then put them next to my desk for later. First can I ever bought I ate in 5 mins.........I couldn't believe it but I couldn't stop they were so damn good I was like OMG these are the best. My mouth was full the whole time till I realized they were gone. When I went shopping again I bought like 12 cans & I wish I had gotten cases because next time they were gone. :(
