UK Dimensions meet up...?

I've been noticing that there seems to be a growing number of UK-based dimensions people on the board these days. This got me thinking about how it would be excellent to have some kind of Dimensions UK meet - up, in the style of those we read about on the US "Events & Community" thread?

So I thought I'd just put "out there" the idea...? Maybe for a some kind day activity/group dinner? London seems like an obvious location?

If there is the interest, I'd be totally up for organising something like this - reply or PM me to let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions?

Bigbellyssbbw and I are definately interested! We can drive pretty much anywhere, but obviously down south is good for us! I think we'd like a dinner or something, we've done the dances now, so long as the chairs don't have arms! Why don't we do both? Early dinner, then go to a club (bbw)? Em, feel free to use our sofa!

Would be lovely to meet everyone, but given that there are some of us in Scotland and the north of England.... London does not seem like an obvious location for us lol. Manchester is central... about 250 miles from me still... London being 500 and very expensive to get to and stay over :( .

What about Birmingham then? there is a BBW club there, but its not the busiest however, also you can get a discount on a hotel room if you quote the club

Birmingham IS central and there is a bbw club there. I'd be more than willing to go there. It's about half way between here and london. Maybe it's not the busiest BUT there would be all us lot there.

We could maybe all book into the hotel that the party is at. Meet up for an early dinner or something and then go on to the club? We could even do lunch the next day before everyone went back if you all wanted?

I was also going to suggest Birmingham- I live not far from the very centre. You also have that damn 'orrible BullRing to look at- its Ok inside if you like shoes.

Well I have stayed in the Quality Hotel which is just across the road form the venue, and it was actually really nice ,breakie is incl plus there is a swimming pool, I didnt use it as i had a hangover but the person I was with did and he said it was lovely and there was no one about

There is also a TGI a 5 min walk up the road from the hotel

Well I think first of all we all need to get agreed on a certain date. There's 3 of us so far up for the 23rd (Me, Bigbellssbbw and fatchicksrockuk) if we're all agreed on that date then you'll just need to book your room in the hotel. If you don't like us then you'll just have to drink a beer or two then you'll love us really :P
