I need a hug....

I just found out my brother was hit by a truck riding his bike this evening. They were going in opposite directions & the driver failed to turn on his blinker & just turned right into my brother. He has a broken pelvic bone, fluid in his lungs, that's all I know right now. They had to lifeflight him to Mobile because the hospitals here were not equipped to handle his injuries & surgery. My mom says it's bad & their not sure he's gonna make it..............She just made it to the hospital in Mobile & right now we're waiting ...................

Thank You, ALL of you for your kind words & prayers they mean a great deal to me. When I posted the news they were unsure he'd even make it. Thing's are looking good now and I believe everyone's thoughts & prayers helped him. He goes in for surgery in the morning to have a metal plate put in because his bones were shattered. Somehow from the time he went from one hospital to the other the fluid in his lungs was gone.........don't ask me how, when I asked my mom about it she said the hospital in Mobile said that they saw no signs of it. The hospital here in the town we live in told her his lungs were full of fluid.......I know mistakes happen but so do miracles & all I can say is Thank You whatever it was for letting my brother stick around.

Thank You also to all you wonderful people, All of you made this a little easier for me to deal with & I Love You All! Your like my family to & I'm so happy to be in this family. Ok now I gotta stop the mushiness because I'm starting to cry.......

I can relate to what you are going through. My brother Craig die instantly in a head on crash with the car making an illegal u-turn. The driver did not know she killed my brother for some time. My Family was defictated and has never been the same since. It has brought us farther apart.

I am so glad that is not the case with you brother. It sounds like he is in a great hospital and will overcome this incident it no time. I will keep you in my prayers.
