Have you all heard this? I was in Lane Bryant on Monday and one of the ladies told me the reason the wall jeans were on sale for $19.99 is because they are being discontinued, in favor of more "custom" styles. I have tried on one pair of the supposed "custom" style and boy do they fit small...

Just wanted to know if anyone else knew...

Since I've never found any LB jeans I like, I'm looking forward to seeing the new styles.

Slightly off-topic: LB used to sell Seven jeans, but not anymore. I never tried them and have no idea what they're like, but in case anyone is interested, Avenue has started to stock a few styles.

My first thought - is $19.99 such a deal? I don't know what the regular price is, but $19.99 doesn't sound like such fire-sale prices to me.

I tried the "Se7en" jeans a long time ago, when LB first got them. They all run small, and are way Way WAY overpriced - I wouldn't mind paying that if there was something new or interesting in terms of style - there wasn't.

I'd jump all over $20 jeans if they were what I like to wear. Most Avenue Denim Lites are just under $50, and all of the "unique" trendy jeans I've purchased off of ebay (some I'll be selling soon) have cost me well over $65 bucks a pair (most averaging around $75).

So yeah, $20 jeans... I'd take them all day long! :D

Oh, and some of those Seven jeans that LB was selling before were over $75 per pair, a couple up to $150 for special editions/etc. So yeah... all in all, in fat girl jean land, $20 is a steal.

I hope the sale jeans are flares or bootcuts. I have nice pair of flared or bootcut jeans I got in Lane Bryant some yrs back which I really love but they are too small on me now. :( They are a 22 & I betcha they don't have those particular ones anymore either. Had I known I was gonna outgrow them I would've got a 24 & dealt with them being too big at the time. You learn the hard way, never ever buy anything smaller than a size 24 even if you're a size 18. You will outgrow it, need a 24 & be wishing you had it in a 24 lol...

Thanks for the warning, I'll go stock up. They have one style that has a high enough rise that my apple belly doesn't roll them down like pantyhose and wonder of wonders, they don't sag under my sadly non-existent ass. I think they normally run at twice that price.
