Our weekend events are greatly popular and you definitely don't want to miss this one! We normally have 300+ people in attendance and it is a weekend that people truly look forward to. It is also a great time for you to try out one of our events if you've never been to one. Join us for one or all events! See you there!


Important Notes - Updated May 20th

SUNDAY Afternoon Clothing Swap - Cleaning out your closet? Buy something that didn't fit quite right? Well then bring your clothes in for trade with some other gals. Join us for our first clothing swap in the hospitality suite. There will be chips and soda complimentary. Just bring yourself and your items for the swap.

Overnight Rooms- Please note that we have sold out our original room block, but we have added more rooms. Rooms are available by calling 781-935-8760 and asking for the Heavenly Bodies Room Block. Our special rate is $75 and it is good for Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon nights for those arriving early and departing late. Please note you do NOT need a room to attend our events. If you have any trouble booking a room, please contact us at bbwdancema@aol.com and we will do our best to assist you.

Paying @ The Door: There is no registration this year. All events may be paid at the door or pay on your own for the meal gatherings.

ATTENTION: Schedule Update

A few slight changes in time and we changed the clothing swap to be on Sunday.

Clothing Swap: I received emails from people not able to make it so early on Saturday, so we decided to move it to Sunday.

Dinner Gathering: We are actually going to have special tables set up in the ballroom area where Karoake and the Dance will be. Please arrive between 5 and 5:30 to secure a seat - you'll be able to dine and get a jump start on Karaoke which will begin at 6pm.

We are foregoing the farewell breakfast this year as we are going to let people sleep in for once! :)

Ok here is the thing..I really,really want to come.I'm working hard to make this happen.I want to spend some time hanging out with my sister and her boyfriend,relax and have some fun.I have not had nearly enough interaction lately with other size positive people so I'm in need of the boost I get when I attend these sorts of events.If I don't do something size/fat positive for any length of time I start to get antsy..It's like I need a recharge.

The thing is this..I sometimes become shy in large groups of people where I really don't know anyone.I hate the awkwardness of having to sit by yourself at a table when everyone around you is socializing.If I should arrive there and be by myself would it be ok if I just come around and say hello to different people? I promise I'm normal and actually once I relax and get to speaking with people my shyness often vanishes.Ok, I'm a tad neurotic but just putting this out there will help me come this weekend.Thanks. :blush:

I get the sense that your pace is your pace and that's cool. Even if we talk big on the the series of tubes......and show up somewhat smaller in the real world....

New here. Nor sure where to post this, but will give it a shot.

Heather and Mlle. Neruskaya suggested I post here.

NY area FA artist here who saw some of you at the mini-chat pool party over St. Pat's Day and figured, though I'm not very technologically inclined and chat- oriented, to register here.

I'd love to come up for the Memorial Day party, but wanted to know if you know of anyone in the NJ/NYC area who needed a ride up either late Friday or (more likely) early Saturday morning and probably returning some time early afternoon of Monday. (possible rehearsal for me Monday evening in NYC.)

I have a very spacious fat girl friendly Dodge Durango, which should hold three amply-sized beautiful fat girls comfortably, or perhaps one beautiful ssbbw and three thinner people in the back seat.

Durangos are incredible gas guzzlers, so having some passengers to split costs, and or someone who's booked a room who wants to split said costs with another would be welcome.

If you know of anyone interested, let me know.

The girls are up in the room sleeping but seeing as how I spent all week cooped up in a hotel room I couldn't sleep. So I've been wandering around the hotel getting familiar with it. I think I'm gonna go take a dip in the pool soon!

sooooooooooooo I think i met some of you there... and this is my FIRST post ever. and I just wanted to say I had a blast and it was good to meet some more people besides just me and my friends from home

BTW, got home ok.....about 20-30 minutes ago. Love is on her way back to her place, probably won't get online tonight, I would guess. She's probably got a bit of a drive ahead of her.

Short list of lessons learned this weekend:

Blake=cool

I would like to point out that I would have gotten Robin home about 45 minutes sooner if ANYONE IN THE CAR WHO WAS FROM OR WHO GREW UP IN BOSTON had listened to me when I said we were going the wrong way as we ended up going to Robin's EXACTLY THE WAY I SAID THAT WE SHOULD HAVE.

Not that I'm going to gloat or anything because I DID get Oreo Cake Icing ice cream out of the deal, but I'm JUST SAYING.:D :kiss2: :kiss2:

Traffic surprisingly light, even on 95 through NYC as we risked the GW again instead of Tappan Zee. And I can confirm that Molly Pitcher, Vince Lombardi rest areas best and cleanest in Jersey, as opposed to skeevy (_) rest area whose name right now escapes me (the one right after Lombardi).

Amazingly managed to find way out of Boston and back to 95 despite construction, uselessness of map and Bob and Love's uncertainty about construction. Fairly easy. Also Love very uncool vis-a-vis hip music scene while Bob complete dolt about most everything else in free world. And BW Pkwy still disturbingly unlit and dark, though clear and full moon help. And Bob still afraid of bridges, but better as rider and had ephipany as to real source of bridge fear (more later). Waxwing (Robin) looks HAWT in American flags, makshift swimwear, and dresses belted to her with unmentionables of fat chicks.

Large pans of bacon good for hangovers.:)

State/county blue laws=bad.:(

People at bashes=big fun, cool time.:)

Not sleeping for 24 hours=bad.:(

Rowan, SlackerFA, Toodles, AM, Lilly, Lip, Love, Waxwing, J, Ella, Miss Stacie, whole host of others too numerous to name=big fun.:)

The swap was a whopping success. I got a lot of really cool stuff. Anything that wasn't taken got dropped off at the Goodwill drop-off site yesterday afternoon.

OMG!!! I totally forgot about the dress.

Yes. Waxy was wearing my dress and cinched with one of my bras for that special hourglass shape (and to hide the excess yardage of fabric)

Although it did ruin my third costume change, I was glad to oblige Waxy with her need to sparkle.
