San Diego meet-up & dinner August 25th.

We're having a little Dims dinner get together, in the San Diego area on Saturday, August 25th. BigBellySSBBW and her hubby BigGirlsRockUK, are going to be visiting, so we plan to show them some So Cal hospitality. Anyone that would like to join us, PM me and I will give you the details.

Just wanted to let everyone know that we are all still on for this. It will be Saturday August 25th. We will plan to meet at about 5:00-ish at a wonderfully fat friendly mexican restaurant (I will detail everyone via PM or email closer to he date), that is right off the 5 freeway in Del Mar. Del Mar is half way between where Guy and I live and where Donni and Mike will be staying. It will be very easy to find. So far, here is the guest list:

OMG!! We had such a great time meeting everyone!!!!! And those margaritas were huge!! I had two cherry flavour ones...soooo good....and I got bit buzzed which is so unusual for me. Everyone was awesome. We do have pictures, but have not uploaded them to the computer yet.

I really wish I lived here in San Diego. Really, REALLY. So if something ever goes terribly wrong with my life as is, this is probably where I would come. There is so much potential here for bbw social stuff and I'm not talking dances. Also, being here in So Cal, I have not so much as received one strange look from people. I forgot what it feels like to be treated like a normal person. God I miss the life here. Oh well, England has PLENTY of opportunity for activism, lol.

Anyways, it was great to meet everyone. We will be back next year around the same sort of time if you want to repeat an annual bbw chevy's night, lol. Oh maybe Ebony would let us invade her space for a Cali pool party:)

Thanks D! My daughter said she had a fun time also. I don't know if you saw, one of the waitresses gave her a ball of tortilla dough, she had fun squishing it around most of the time. The moment we put our daughter into the car she fell asleep, and slept all the way home. Luckily the drive home only took about 2 1/2 hours, it was smooth sailing.

I enjoyed meeting you and M, brief as it may have been, and look forward to seeing you guys again next year!

We really had a good time. It was awesome to meet Donni and Mike.
