View Full Version : Stuffed tummies, the vagus nerve, and orgasm

Don't know if this topic has been covered...

I have encountered individuals (who professed to be feedees, aka people turned on by the idea of being stuffed and gaining weight from overeating) who claimed that when they ate a certain amount, usually past the point of discomfort, to the point where endorphins are kicking in, at a certain point they would become aroused enough to actually experience a physical orgasm without any "direct" stimulation.

Researchers have uncovered evidence of the vagus nerve being an "alternate" orgasmic pathway for individuals with spinal cord injuries that prevent their experiencing an orgasm in the traditional way, and recently there have been articles describing the connections of the vagus nerve to the stomach (one such article mentioned severing the vagus nerve connections to the stomach as an anti-hunger therapy).

In my mind, it is not inconceivable that a combination of endorphins and stimulation of the vagus nerve thru overfilling (stretching) the stomach, combined with the mental arousal of an individual who is turned on by these sensations, could result in someone experiencing a physical orgasm. My question, then, is has anyone here personally experienced this, or know someone who had experienced this?

This would make an interesting paragraph in a medical journal, for sure.

Would that I had paid attention in high school anatomy. This sounds like something the Tantra and Shamanic groups would have stumbled upon by now.

SEVERING the vagus nerve? People are cutting their nerve stems to reduce the amount they eat? o_0

The procedures that were mentioned were performed for a different reason, although the anti-hunger thing was noticed as a side-effect. It was back in the days before they had good acid-control medications for people with ulcers and chronic acid reflux. It did work, but it was considered a fairly radical approach and only a few were good candidates for it. When better meds came on the scene, it was retired to the halls of medical history. Now, with the booming popularity of dangerous bariatric surgery, it is being re-visited as a safer, less invasive (and less effective) form of WLS.

Anyway, let's not let this drift off topic. Let's hear from folks who have had an orgasm from a full tummy, or who knew someone who made this claim.

i've experienced the opposite. I have a very active, ornery vagus nerve. i'm very familiar with the traditional vaso-vagal response and i hate it.
that's when i'm sick, however.
perhaps, were I NOT sick, and if this worked for me, it might be a hell of a lot of fun! based on the intensity with which i have the BAD response, I can only imagine how intense the GOOD response might be.
Med study, forget it. How about movie!! DeepVagus.

I guess, if I decide to have mine snipped, I really should find out if it works the good way, too. :)

First of all, I'd love to see any links you might have to share with us regarding this information. I've heard of this before but have never had time to go and search it out myself. I'd love to show hubby. :D

In addition to this theory, remember that a girl's fantasies and imagination alone can get her close to orgasm. LOL!

I know I've gotten VERY turned on, but I don't know if I could contribute that to one or both theories, and I don't know if that could bring one "over the edge" completely.

Always worth trying!! :eat1: ;)

After a quick look, waiting for hubby to have dinner (sheesh! hurry up!) I found this:

:) Does anyone have any more?

I don't have definitive answers, but relatedly it's been a lifelong goal to orgasm without direct touch. That's interesting in and of itself.

I'm off to google the vagus nerve. I have no clue what it is!

The good old "Vagabond" of the 12 crannial nerves.

It seems that stimulation can be used for a good thing. I just remembered it from Anatomy class in college. :p

Interesting. So that is the physical cause of feederism...the sexual arousment of stuffing yourself. I see. Very interesting indeed. I know alot about medical subjects like that (although I'm studying psychology, I have a relative who's a doctor...plus I watch some hospital shows!). But, that makes me wonder, would that affect the WLS in any way? And do the patients with the nerve dislocated or severed have the urge to trigger the orgasm or do they learn by accident? And how much food would it take to trigger it? Very interesting...

I wonder whether the nerves affect our brains in any way. I have similar reactions when watching stuffed people (obviously or else I really wouldn't have a reason to be here, would I?:p ) Anyway, I don't think that's the only reason for having orgasms while being/watching stuffed people.

Hello all....havent posted for awhile but this topic sounds like it might be similar to what Alex and i experience. As you all know i have battled the ideas of staying big or losing weight for health reasons, for a long time....years. Im still 658lbs so my battle rages on! I am also about to post new pictures on our yahoo group. Anyway...never before have i experienced this except when Alex and i are intimately eating and loving together. It seems that if i purposely "stuff up" and eat to the limit and then we make love, it (orgasm) is overwhelmingly magnified both for he and i. Something also makes me clench up tighter and it is difficult for him to get in, making it even more exciting. It is NOT our imagination, there really is something to this as weve tried it more than once and it is pretty fun! I invite other couples to try this and see if its the same with them. I also wonder if it is a bbw thing or does it work for thinner people too. :kiss2:

I've experienced the same thing, but not as intense. When I'm really stuffed, I get an erection without even trying. Then when I cum, its more intense than usual. Interestingly enough, I've had the same experiences after taking an enema. I suspect the two are related.
