I'd buy a black Volkswagen Jetta, used but in good condition and a laptop computer.

I understand crack yields a high rate of return on one's investment.
A car, some custom boots, clothes, a wii and a couple games, and a savings bond with whatever was left over.

new laptops for me and hubby, a kickass professional camera and lighting set, wii, ps3 and xbox360.. a new over 60" big screen tv.. (my 52 incher could go in the bedroom).. new stereo system.. pay off my car. New bed and living room furniture.. that'd wipe it out

Pay off car, pay off CC balance, and if I HAD to spend the rest.... right now I'd probably go away somewhere luxurious and fun, maybe spend some time in Vegas pretending to be a semi-whale. I could use the mental break.

Pay off the CC we just paid off but are now using since hubby bought a $26,000 truck ~ roughly 3000.00 Pay off medical Bills roughly 2000.00 Pre-pay a dentist office to pull my wisdom teeth and fix 2 cavities- I could only imagine the cost... Hopefully under 3000.00 to allow for sedation. And then the remaining pay on the truck to only leave us at $14000.00 in that debt- and refinance for a shorter term and/or lesser payments!

I can write checks during those two hours, right? I'd pay off my car, my private student loan, my unsecured dental loan. I'd have just enough left over to buy a macbook, a new treo cingular phone, an ipod, an external hard drive, and some sort of gift certificate for Lane Bryant and Torrid.
Yeehaw! Let's go back to normal life now, all this dreaming is making me itchy.

i'd give a bit of it away to someone i know who is suffering. but i wouldn't give much of it away b/c i'm a cheap bastard and couldn't live with that, probably. If i had to spend it very quickly? Lamely, that goes against my principles. Can I put some of it into investments, like buying CDs? The rest I'd probably use for a cleaning service and some new furniture and I'd try to book a vacation before the time was up!

Where can you buy a shack in the woods for 20K? And with solar panels? It'd be 20K+ with rebates and incentives just to set up a grid-connected solar system here in So Cal!
But, seriously, does that shack come with the ground it sits on?

At *least* half would go to college loans. Also I can't come into a windfall like that and not want to help some causes that are near to my heart so a couple of donations would be in order.I would also give a bit to some people who I know could use it.
Now onto the fun stuff!! Some would go towards furniture..a new couch, the Saarinen side table and Eames chair I've been wanting forever but could never, ever afford(I don't care if they are modern design cliches I still want them)..some artwork,I also need my walls painted.I would still have several thousand at this point so a mini spree at sephora would be in order.Once I hit 2 or 3 thousand I would put it in savings because It would be lovely to have a cushion to fall back on in case of an emergency. One can dream....

20K...Sounds like a lotta money. I'd have to say the first 3K gets spent going on the Vegas Bash and just having a kick ass time and a lil gambling and partying with all the fun folks there:) The rest would go towards a down payment on a small house or to start a new job and risk being self employed for a while to see if I can make it happen. Ok, well, I will wear a bra during all daytime hours, except on late saturday afternoons ( religious reasons ). I will require your hands every evening after 6PM. I will take care of the lotion, you just save yours for your own...special times.
You will be required to learn some fairly complex moves...such as when needing one of your hands to do somthing else for me, so you you need to dip a bit and use your head to hold one of my fleshpads. Hope your thighs are in great shape.

There was a time 20k would be considered a lot of money. How the times have changed!
My first thought to having it was to pay off my student loan debt. But the thing is, it wouldn't even put a dent into it.
Then I thought I'd buy me one of them hybrid cars or something, but I think my choices would be somewhat limited on that one.
Now when I hit the post reply button, I saw the words, "breast lift". I think I'd see if it would be a good down payment for some cosmetic work I'm needing. I don't know though, because I'm wanting quite a bit.
In the end, I would probably take some of it and have a nice meal at the Olive Garden, (their shrimp caprece is delishe) and perhaps a night out at the local club with some friends.
The rest? Pay off some of my student loan debt or maybe see if I can lift my boobies too! ;)
