I really don't mean to be rude here but I have to say that I love reading the bash threads and getting caught up in the excitement of everyone, but I notice a recurring theme of you complaining that you can't afford to go to them. I notice after you did the last time though, you suddenly did manage to go. So that was only a few weeks ago, sure that will carry you through to the next one you can manage to afford. For every person who manages to go to a bash there must be twenty who would LOVE to go and can't afford it, but they don't post every time saying so. I also doubt most people can afford to go to all the bashes, other than the people who organise them and so are working at them.

Actually..it does seem like you mean to be rude or you would not have posted this. For your information, I did want to go to the NJ bash and there was no way i was able to because it is two states away and i couldnt afford all the driving and the room and entrance. Someone i know happened to come along at the last minute and offer to pay for some stuff. That is how i was able to go to that one. This one, who knows, same thing could happen.

So apparently its okay for everyone else to express their disappointment and say they'd like to go to something if they at the time are unable to attend, but if they end up being able to...they're just so bad, or what?
