Oh yes. That too. The Frosty-fry thing is better.

BTW, I got some 6-week-old fries I saved for an experiment... they ain't decomposed at all. These are McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King's, and Sonic's fries.

How about cherry turnovers, black bean salsa eaten with Tostitos scoops, a nectarine, and lindt truffles thrown in for good measure??

A friend of mine got me hooked on doing that. Super hot salty fries and super cold sweet frosty together. :eat2: Too bad there isn't a Wendy's nearby.

<blushes> cottage cheese and Flamin' Hot Cheetos- mix the cheetos into the cottage cheese, turns the most wonderful shade of pink, eat quickly or the cheetos get soggy :(

ok so i remember this one time like...a week ago i wanted ice cream REALLY badly, but all we had was vanilla, so i decided, in my infinite wisdom, that i'd "spice it up." so i cut up a chocolate muffin, sprinkled marshmellows and chocolate syrup and bits of peanuts and called it an "ice cream stampede." it was awful. seriously, don't just mix foods randomly unless you hate your taste buds.

what can i say? i'm a creative young man....but you'd think, similar tastes like a CHOCOLATE muffin and CHOCOLATE syrup would work together? no. those 2 are 0% teamwork.

and the marshmellows were terrible.

Oh yeah, I can see the thought pattern, but it just didn't work out. And I don't have anything that even seems close, so I'd be skeered to see what you'd concoct.

And to be clear, there is nothing wrong with a creative young man. :wubu:

how'd this go from talking about bad food to aaron blushing?.:kiss2:

but yeah annmarie if i was ever over at your place i'd make something GOOD...i wouldn't even experiment for fear that it'd go terribly wrong and the taste alone would wear out my welcome.

Okay, I'll answer and try to keep hijacking to a minimum here.

As long as it's something I'd be eating anyway, it's fine by me. Sophie and I had a cute boy who fed us cheesecake... it was fun (although I'm quite sure he was the one who enjoyed it most... LOL). :eat2:

I'm not very adventurous.

Wild is when I eat Dr. Pepper and Orange Sherbet JellyBelly Jellybeans at the same time. ;)

Or bacon, cheddar cheese, banana, and peanut butter sandwiches. Fried.

You guys HAVE to try fritos (use the scoop kind) dipping in cream cheese...it's just divine. Honest :)

My old favorite is popcorn and snocaps (or anything chocolate really).

Yeah, I love this. Grilled cheese is great, and you can cook so many things with it. I love grilled peanut butter sandwiches too (chunky peanut butter to make me chunky, hehe)! And you can make grilled cheese and peanut butter sandwiches. Or put a thin slice of tomato on your grilled cheese before you fry it. Mmmmm, I'm getting hungry....

I make big Dagwood sandwiches, and while I really pile on the calories (and the fat), I opt for mustard all the time over mayonnaise. It just makes a good sandwich even better. And yeah, I like to dip those grilled cheese sandwiches in mustard. And pretzels with mustard, mmmm. Oh my, it's nearly lunchtime...:eat1:

Yes! Yes! Someone who finally understands me! Must be the midwest thing!

You know, they don't have patty melts out here, for the most part (on the East Coast, I mean). I thought that was SO odd. Any greasy spoon/diner has them in the midwest. Not out here. Most people haven't even heard of them.

Now that I think of it--so easy to make. I should just make one. And it has to have yellow mustard on it. Not french. YELLOW.

Nothing too strange here, but I LOVE Hot Tamales candy mixed with black jelly beans.

I also love buying those frozen cheese filled pretzel pieces (Pretzel Bites?) and smothering them with pretzel salt and mustard. Also like the new ones with jack cheese inside, no mustard, but I have to add salt to those too.

Patty melts? Mmmmmm, to die for. Someone on another thread reminded me about fried balogna; mmmmm, it is great with anything on a sandwich. I've even had fried balogna, a fried egg, lettuce, tomato, ranch dressing, mustard -- and peanut butter!! Mmm. :):eat1:

My dad used to make fried bologna sammies (just fry it up in a skillet and put it on bread)

dangit! i'm having him make me one when I visit next (they don't even buy bologna anymore...)

God, whoever you are, mr. (ms.?) pattymelt person, I LOVE YOU.

I LOVE grilled peanut butter and jelly! So gooey and melty. Mmm. And I make the best grilled cheese sandwich in the world. Crispy, buttery, and oh-so-tasty.
