I think the pics look scrumptious and you did a great job. I am wondering however what that is in the bottom pic...the little bowl thing.

That is Beef Wellington, and OMG it is so good (if you like beef, which I do). It is a filet wrapped in puff pastry with pate and, in this case, some sort of sprouts on top.
Here's a recipe, but it looks too complicated to me to bother with, especially just for myself.

Sure! The first pic is chateaubriand (my fav!) with broccoli and potatoes with cheese. That night I also had a smoked chicken appetizer, salad, and grand mariner souffle for dessert, plus plenty of bread.
If the portions are not big enough for you, you get something you don't like, or you can't decide what you want, they will bring you two or more of anything - soup, appetizer, dessert, entree, whatever. Also there is a full breakfast buffet (I always get made to order omlettes) and lunch buffet, plus 24 hour pizza, soft serve ice cream, a chinese place, hamburgers, and probably some other stuff I am forgetting, and it is all included in the price.
I just made reservations at Disney World for $119 a night and that doesn't include any of the food or the entertainment...
The second pic is just some fruit sculptures from the Super Bowl. They also make beautiful fruit and vegetable sculptures, plus ice carvings, for the Grand Buffet, but I fell asleep and did not get any pics. I will have to see if any of my friends did.
The third pic is some grilled baby veggies I chose as an appetizer. Baby eggplant, squash, pea pods, and some other veggies I can't remember. I just liked the presentation.
The fourth is Beef Wellington, sweet potatoes, and broccoli.

Sounds and looks WONDERFUL. I do love pics of food!! :wubu:
I simply adore beef wellington when done right, and not only is it often not done right, it's hard to find. Delish!! Looks like you had a great food experience. :D
