Hi
Here is a Fat-o-phobic article on MSN.com
What if no one were fat?

I am not stupid enough to buy into Vista, but if I was this would make me send it back to Microsoft :)

If no one were fat I would be a very sad man. :(
In any case though, I'm really a pretty laid back guy and generally speaking I don't let the ignorant opinions of others bother me. I do, however, sometimes just get the overwhelming sense of "why the F%#$ can't people just mind their own damn business??!?!?!"
But, then it passes, and I am me again!

At least it passes! I am getting over the phase of caring what everyone thinks. It's liberating.

I just read it. It makes the assumption that only fat/overweight/obese people eat junk food...thats a ridiculous assumption!!! Every fat person does not live solely on junk food, and every slim person does not live solely of healthy, wholesome food. Slim people eat junk too! They pay for it to still keep being mass-produced just as much as overweight people!!!
Also this angered me
'Productivity in the workplace would jump as people took fewer sick days and spent less time at work feeling unwell.'
Again another assumption that only overweight people call in sick???
Maybe the editor should have adivised the writer to call the article 'What if no one were unhealthy?'
Absurd...totally absurd! Its that F.A.T word again that gets people shaking there heads, pointing the fingers and looking for someone to blame for the societal wrongs....'ok we'll just blame the fatties again, they're the easy target.'
Grrrrrrrr

All that I can say is make sure to use
http://www.openoffice.org/
instead of buying Microsoft Office :)

At least click on the "one star" rating to give the article the feedback it deserves. (Unfortunately they don't have a zero star.)

Go farther, switch to one of the Ubuntu distributions of Linux (I recommend Kubuntu). I've upgraded three systems from MS Windows so far and I'm not going to look back.
