OMG!!! I want to go to that! *cries*

I wish I didn't live so far away or had known about this sooner. I love Sumo! ! !

At least there is hope for a national tour. ***Please God let Sumo wrestling become as popular here in the US as it is elsewhere!!!***

I would so be a Sumo groupie. :smitten:

Thank you JMNYC for bringing us that!! I hope you're going. We need to show them lots of enthusiam for the sport here so they will tour!!!

Anyone want to fly me out to NYC tonight so I can go to this thing? *crickets*

I actually work at Madison Sq. Garden as a tour guide. I saw the press conference in the lobby of the Garden. All I could think was this was a FFA's dream! I'll actually be doing tours around the Garden on Saturday before the Sumo event. If any FFA's in the area want to come on the tour, they're from 11am to 3pm. Look for a tour guide named 'Fred', that would be me! ;)

See ya,

I would love to take your tour RV. I hope you'll be attending the event afterwards! Take a date! In fact round up every FFA you know in NYC and take them! I saw ticketmaster has tickets as low as $15.00! I really want this thing to take off so they will come a little bit closer to Oklahoma.

If anyone finds out about future competitions, please post!! I'm willing to travel with adequate notice. :)

I'm going to cover the event for a music magazine, so I'll be there---and then I have to skedaddle over to Chelsea at 9 to check out my honey singing "It's Raining Curves" at "Curve-entures" in Chelsea...a night of whoop-de-do! (and bangin' bellies!)

Wow! Wish I could tag along! One sounds almost as much fun as the other! ;)

Will you please let us know where we can find your write up? I can't wait to hear about this!!!

Have I mentioned I LOVE SUMO? :D :p :smitten: :kiss2:

Interesting the article is mentioned a Sumo stew that is calorie heavy and they take a nap after eating it.

Wonder if any FFA's here will be looking up the recipe.
