"Hindu, Jewish, or Muslim, I believe there are infinite paths to accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Savior."

That was pretty funny.

I didn't think it was very funny. I thought most of it was an attack and not in good taste. A few of the jokes were funny- like the Lord and Savior bit.
But I thought the impersonator was more entertaining. The president did not look at all amused throughout the attack. It's usually more balanced. This time it was not.

"Somebody shoot me in the face" .... :D :D :D

"If you don't believe me, look it up. Now I know that some of you are going to say I did look it up, and that's not true. That's because you looked it up in a book." :D

So funny...

I watched the whole thing. It was weird... seeing something that is usually done professionally on the networks being done CSPAN-style. So we had blue people, shots that showed the worst possible background, timing glitches to the max, and, all in all, a fairly major event done as amateurishly as can be found on cable these days.

I am not a fan of Colbert and find his new-found celebrity status puzzling. Like the Daily Show's Jon Stewart, a much greater talent in my eyes, Colbert bombed, or at least was not accepted, by a more traditional audience. Stewart at least held his own at the Academy Awards, against an icy audience, but Colbert rushed through his material at a pace that nuked his strength, which is timing.
