Less sure of anything than he was 43 years ago but dazzled, none the less.
That's not an entirely bad thing.
G'nght, Board.
You're only 55... get back to your chains for another ten years! :)

Man, oh, man, oh Suzy Q, sure do wish I could say the same thing...and mean it. I doubt I'll ever be able to retire. Then again, what would I do with myself if I did? :p ~Bountifully, Foosh

I have plans to retire at 55 (or earlier if AT ALL possible), and I can tell you what I will be doing with myself. I will be traveling, SCUBA diving, learning new things such as karate, horseback riding, swimming with dolphins, gardening, fixing up the house, and still watching TV, movies, shopping.
I can also tell you what I *won't* be doing, and that is kissing the great white corporate behind.
I wish I could retire today, but I can't. However, anyone can retire early.

Only 9,490 days left till my retiremen :( with maybe an additional 1,825 if they increase the retirment age like they've threatened to.

I don't plan on waiting til "the retirement age." I'm going to retire when *I* decide it is time:p

As Mr Lormand, my freshman music theory teacher used to say, "Lord love a duck, Souse... look what you've started NOW."
Sorry. I meant i wax just retiring for the [I]night [I]and retiring dazzled by copious wisdom on The Board. If i was announcing my retirement from my little contribution to the GNP, my post woulda had a lotta smilies and exclamations and been a lot less low key.
I have too many pricey addictions to retire.
Fortunately, i like what i do well enough that that's ok but i REALLY loathe the paperwork involved in being self employed and i TOTALLY RESENT all the years i've had to do it.
So when i turn 64 1/2, i'm gonna keep working but the IRS (and their insipid little scraps of paper i've spent my adult life chasing down) can kiss my ass.
I don't mind giving them money so much but i HATE this paperwork.
I'm going cash only, dumping bank accounts and ain't writing NUTHIN down and if they wanta PROVE i made some money somewhere, lettem have at it.
I'd LOVE to turn this into a major rant but i got paperwork to do.
Sadly, rumors of my retirement have been greatly exaggerated.
