View Full Version : New Supplies for Jewelry Designers and Crafters coming soon!
Fallen Angel Brass™ is a new company forming and almost ready to launch. We're moving along in preparing to start loading our Etsy store with supplies. Those of you jewelry designers out there, these are lovely, lovely pieces. Very original and will make for striking designs. Here is just a taste of what we're getting in to stock our store with. These first ones are pretty large, with the ones in the last photo being smaller. Don't have the exact measurements right now, though. We're hoping our original style will resonate with those who are looking for something different, something dark and romantic. Entirely made in the US. Here's a little peek. More will be able to be found on our facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/FallenAngelBrass), as well as a few pieces of jewelry I've made using this brass.
The first one is our Grand Dame filigree -- large, gorgeous and as tasty to the eye as dark chocolate is to the tongue...

I am really glad there will be some dark filigree for me to buy ( well, at some point )! As I said on your FB page, I have the old vintage relative of the top stamping, and also the second. The dark stampings speak to me, because they take newer brass and make it a lot better. So, either old brass for me...or messed with new brass.:D
Frames and settings?
Also, glad to see more options for dark chain.
Thank you for your good wishes, Dee! I hope so, too. My business partner and I have been working on this for a while and it's pretty exciting. We have created the kind of brass that we really wanted to work with ourselves, but couldn't find -- at least done well and completely US made, which isn't the most important aspect, but does count to us, as we wanted to insource. :D
I really adore the dark chocolate/saved from the ashes kind of look, and as it wears, you see a coppery patina forming here and there. Further proof that our tastes are way too similar, M. Yes, we do have frames. Just a few for now. This is our first run, though there are still a lot more items to add to the store; this is just the start, and we expect there to be many more. *fingers crossed*
We'll be starting with our test group soon, which will be fun, and we'll also have a sister store that will carry jewelry and other creations made from FAB (though that's a little way down the road) Here's a link (http://www.etsy.com/shop/FallenAngelBrass) to the store...

We're also carrying findings in order to put pieces together. We're lising every day, and still have a ways to go. We have jump rings, ear wires, clasps and more. Below is but one of our styles of chain, the Petite Flat Cable Chain, and then some headpins. That's my partner's, Karen, hand. :)

Wow Tina this stuff is beautiful! Good luck on your new venture. I hope it's a success for you both. :)
Thank you, Sandie, on both counts! :D BTW, I love the purple top you're wearing! I had to go look at your profile in order to see a larger photo. Can't see much of it but the color is glorious!
