:eat1: HEY EVERYONE YEAH I AM EATING WHILE WRITTING THIS SO IF I GO ASTRAY ITS BECAUSE OF THAT HEEHEE.OK I AM SO TOTALLY NEW AT THIS SO YOU ALL WILL HAVE TO HELP ME OUT. MY NAME TO START WITH IS JoDee AND I AM A NEWBIE ON DIMENSIONSGIRLS AND I HOPING I CAN FILL THIS POSITION WELL. MY LIFE SO FAR HAS BEEN PRETTY QUIET WELL THAT IS TIL I STARTED DOING MY PICS. "OH BOY" LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT MY LITTLE MISHAP A COUPLE WEEKS AGO.I DECIDED TO FOR MY FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE TO BE AN EXHIBITIONIST LOL BIG OLE ME IN A PARK NO ONE AROUND OR SO I THOUGHT AND GUESS WHAT?? I GOT BUSTED!!! I HAPPENED TO BE IN A TUNNEL SLIDE WHEN I HEARD THE SIRENS GOT DOWN OUT OF IT AND LOW AND BEHOLD THERE STANDS A COP AT MY FEET WELL TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT I GOT ME SOME FINES I GOTTA PAY OFF. MAYBE I WONT DO THAT IN SUCH A PUBLIC PLACE AGAIN HEEHEE YEAH RIGHT I LOVED IT.ANYWAYS I AM A BLONDE HAIRED,BLUE EYED SPITFIRE WHO WELL NOW LOVES TO TAKE CHANCES. I WEIGH IN AT 258 NOW YEEHAW I'VE GAINED 8 POUNDS AND PLAN ON GAINING MORE JUST BECAUSE IT WILL BE WINTER SOON AND I LOVE TO EAT LOTS AND LOTS OF CHRISTMAS GOODIES. I LOVE TO CAMP OUT,GO HIKING,READ A GOOD BOOK,WATCH A GOOD SCARY MOVIE YUP WITH POPCORN AND A BIG SODAPOP TO GO WITH IT. I ALSO HAVE FOUND THAT I LOVE TO HAVE MY PIC TAKEN. SO IF YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS LET ME KNOW AND I WILL GIVE IT A TRY.MOSTLY I SIT AT HOME ON MY COMPUTER SO IF YOU LIKE TO CHAT COME AND JOIN ME. WELL I NEED TO FINISH MY FOOD UP AND WILL WRITE MORE TO YOU LATER ,HUGS,AND KISSES

That's the distance you'd have to move your pinky in order to not sound like an idiot. I know the burden of pressing shift to capitalize is a great one.

ok ok lol sounds like i was shouting huh? well i wont do that again normally i write in all small letters anyways hehe but wanted to let ya all know about me so now that you do i promise i wont do it again.:p

I take the zero-tolerance approach to Caps-Lock myself. On Linux boxes where the keys are remappable I turn it into an extra control key. On other machines I pop the top off of it with a screwdriver. Harmless and easy. It might be worth your while to do the same to the Windows key.

Oh yeah, welcome Trinityspleasure. :D I love n00bs.

Atara..however-you-spell-it. Have you ever though of just not pressing the key? Less work and you don't void the warranty. If anything you should go around and pry the keys off the 'boards of other, less consciencious, users.

I have no coordination while typing. I know it's time to cut my nails when I hit 3 keys at a time instead of my usual 2. :o Besides, there's no damage to the keyboard - you can pop them back on just as easily. (This has all kinds of potential for mischief - take someone else's keycaps off and switch them around. I even know a blind guy who did this to his own keyboard to confuse anybody else who wanted to use his computer :D)
