The sequined ones can take anywhere between 6 and 8 hours. The quilted ones take between 3 and 4. It's definitely a process.

Thank you. I really enjoy them. Cutting the fabric isn't my absolute favorite thing to do, but I love the end result. Some day, I'll finish making some for our tree!

I <3 my rotary fabric cutter (I use it to cut fabric for bird toys)! The kits aren't cheap, but I used a 40% off coupon.

Our times are changing and the face of education may never be the same. Sadly, cuts are being made and teachers are losing their jobs right and left. It's hard to hear about my friends and fellow teachers losing their jobs, hearing about programs such as pre-k being cut in my state and just the overall state of affairs.

I work for a federally funded program and we at risk of losing over 20% of our funding. I supervise teachers and have decided that this year's Teacher Appreciation Week will be as amazing as possible. I want to show my appreciation for their hard work and one way I'm doing that is creating ornaments for each of my teachers and I would like to give you an opportunity to purchase one for your favorite teacher.

These ornaments are available in 3 sizes. The ornament featured in this post measures 2 inches and has room for up to 4 letters for $12.00. Thanks for asking, Misty. A couple of nights ago it hurt so badly I could hardly stand it and was up in the middle of the night with it. Pure agony. And then the next morning it was better, as if it was a fever that had broken. But it's still really swollen, the hand, wrist, and fingers. The inside of my wrist is a swollen, hard knot. Still waiting to see the rheumatologist. Don't know what would make it swell up like this. They said tendonitis at the ER but I'm not sure. It's almost non-functional at this point. Not so good for making jewelry...
