I have Facebook friends I am considering removing due to their completely inane political posts. I don't so much believe everyone is entitled to their opinion, but rather entitled to their informed opinion. I think Isaac Asimov said it best:
Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.

I don't want to lose online friends, but I also can't respect them for what I consider outright stupidity.
