fat girl in a kilt... that would be me!
The summer is about here and that means LOTS OF PIPE BAND GIGS! Now, I LOVE a drummer in a pipe band. We have loads of fun and we get to play at some really neat places. But the uniform!!! I lust over men in kilts.  Any type of man, short, tall, skinny, fat... they ALL look good! But the uniforms werent originally made for women. And certainly not for big girls!I have hips, I have a stomach and I have meaty calves! I like my fat-self, but that doesnt mean I can wear everything. The kilt makes my hips look enormous, the wide belt is uncomfortable and my shirt fits my boobs but not my shoulders. *sigh* But I love the whole uniform. I'll just shut up and deal. I <3 pipe band way too much to let big hips get me down.  Sometime this summer Ill get a shot of me in full uniform and Ill post it. On a side note, you cant even being to imagine how excited I am for the summer's Irish/Scottish fests. Men in kilts everywhere!! *drool*  |
