Sigthing of pride

I know that from time to time, we have people reporting sighting of SSBBWs. But, I think that there are some sightings that are more important, because they are something that as members of the SA movement should take pride in.

Like when you see a fat person or couple that are in love and take pride in their partner. Or a fat person that is in a high paying job and/or a job that they love. Or fat character in the media that is not just there as a excuse to tell fat jokes. But, any fat person that is able to carry themselves with pride.

Because, for every new sighting we can feel proud of the work the SA has done!

Oh, wait, this might count.....the guy who sits to one side of me at work is happy to state that he's 6'6", and about three hundred and fifty pounds. He makes no apology at all for his weight. His wife is more average height, and at a guess is not a whole lot lighter than he is. They may have the usual marital disagreements (is he spending too much time playing WoW, does she really need those front row tickets to see a country singer, etc), but I've never heard anything suggesting that either of them has any issue with the other's size, and certainly they don't hide themselves or the other from anybody. To the best of my knowledge they have no involvement with the size acceptance world, they just happen to be a couple of big people who fell in love and are happy with the way they are.

Not the perfect example, but I wanted to help get the thread rolling.

A few years ago, I went to the local mall with my youngest son. He knows all about my preferences ( how could he not, my-ex, his mom was a BBW and all the GF after ). As we were entering, A couple comes up to enter also. He was my height (6') and average, se was 5'4" or so and built like Carla or Jenni on the paysite. Absolutely all pear shaped booty. The fellows hand did not leave the small of her back (the change purse) the whole time and you could see in his eyes, he had the hottest woman in the world on his arm. She was all eyes for him too. The attraction between the two of them was almost palpable and beautiful to see. I turned to my son and said " Now, thats a woman to cherish" and he returned "You are not kidding!".

And I have been that guy sometimes too. When I am with a woman I adore, it's just the two of us and we are pretty oblivious to the rest of the world. Like a big soft blanket or a bubble pulled around us.
