General Petraeus whom moveon.org characterized as "General Betray Us" in a full page New York Times ad is in and McChrystal is out. This is the kind of guy that if the president of the United States asked him to dress as Mickey Mouse he would. When Bush was president that quality apparently made him "General Betray Us" but now that Obama is president that quality makes him wicked cool. Right?

Apparently so, because

Interestingly enough, the Daily Caller's Jim Treacher notes that "MoveOn.org still had this Sept. 2007 ad up as of June 18, according to their Google cache. But if you go to http://pol.moveon.org/petraeus.html now, it's gone."

When Barack Obama was a US senator he declined to vote on a resolution condemning this ad.
