Ohio BBW Blowout: Anyone ever been?

http://www.myspace.com/cincybbwblowout Has anyone ever been to any of their events? If so, what did you think about them? I live north of Louisville, Kentucky and they are about an hour and forty five minutes from me, but still one of the closest I can find. I've never been to an event of any kind before and have been eager to go to one for a long time now. I just don't want to drive up there by myself and waste my time, gas, or money. I'd ask on their board, but I hate yahoo message boards and I'm seeking a non-biased opinion.  The events look like fun and some of the themes sound awesome... but I am unsure. Any feedback is muchly appreciated!
