Question for the ladies...

ok,i always wondered what do you lady's think of guys with shirts off as there main pic on a dating site? or guys with there shirt off as one of there pics even if it isn't the main one? what runs threw your head? i just always wondered what you ladies thought of this,i was always curious of you ladies that on that subject.nothing against guys that have there shirt off as there main pic,i was just wondering what is the ladies thought when seeing this? sorry if i offended anyone it is not my intention.

Generally it's not appealing. I'd much rather have a guy use correct grammar, spelling & punctuation.

I think these are men who are confident in their looks. Even if a man throws his shirt off or shows his physical sex appeal, that doesn't negate the fact that beneath it, he may be very intelligent.

You can't judge a man accurately based on a picture. I would have to hold a conversation with him to know more of his true nature.

Now if he was posing in thongs, I would have to give him the side-eye, lol. That is a little too much to be showing off. But hey, I can't knock him. It's great to see a man be proud of his physical sexual appeal in a society where men are shunned for doing such a thing.

Its like pulling teeth to get what seems the majority of guys on this and other forums to put up their pic and fill out a bloody profile. Yet they want the moon and stars on a platinum platter from us ladies, and have the nerve to have a tantrum when we give them the brush off because of it. Its only fair.

I'll take an appealing, chest w/ face shot than a grainy pic of their, alleged, 'unit' any day of the week.

That's just my take and not meant to pigeon hole other women by.

On one hand there's nothing wrong with a nice chest shot. On the other, based on my completely unscientific research, guys who do this seem to be a little more interested in "casual" dating. I'm okay with the chest if the little summary with it is interesting but would rather see a face as the main pic. Chests are fine in the "more pictures" section, for sure.

In my brief OkCupid/BBWPersonals stint I did learn that if a guy won't post any picture, let alone words about himself, it's best to steer clear.
