Default Weight gain this past year?

As the New Year is just around the corner I will ask the questions:

For those who are actively gaining how much weight have you gained this past year?

What are your weight gain goals for 2012?

Overall inspite of dips once passing 300 before and now...about 30-35lb gain since January. For 2012, 325-350+lbs could be a big possibility the way things are going.

I'm not sure about that "actively gaining" -part but this year has brought pretty exactly 70 lbs to my frame. No one knows what plans 2012 has for me.

Default Slow and Steady

At 56, being diabetic, and being monitored for CHF, I have to be careful. I'm gaining quite slowly, but I'm not swelling or retaining excessive fluid. I've been pretty much avoiding hot dogs, at 560mg sodium each!, and that's saving me. I heartily recommend slow gain and avoiding salt, if one is going to gain at all. I'm a big boy at 442 lbs today and would like to put on another 20 lbs, by my birthday in June, maybe hit 500 in late 2012, more reasonably, early 2013.

I've put on 5 lbs in the few weeks since this one was taken.

313.5 as of now. Hoping for 350 sometime in 2012, but who knows. I've gained quite a bit of weight this year and am liking it more and more

I've gained around 60 pounds this year Sounds a lot when written like that! I started off mid 100s and am now heading for mis 200s which I am happy with, especially considering I started off 2011 feeling fat at 160ish, desperate to lose weight and I am now loving being 60punds bigger!!
I am not actively gaining but know that I will gain as I continue to eat as I want without stuffing. I am looking forward to 250 and then heading towards 275 possibly by the end of 2012 depending on how I feel at that size.

Over the last few months of 2010 I had lost weight and was 168 lbs at the beginning of this year but then after going to Venezuela and shovelling double the amount of food than I normally do for 3 and a half months I started to gain it back and the only reason it went slowly was because I was walking everywhere. As soon as I came back to Sydney and started driving and taking public transport, the weight came back with a vengeance because the amount of food I ate continued to increase and now I am about 214 lbs.

Welcome back. I like to read you've gained 60 lbs this year. Sure I think if you eat continue you gained very well and lovely. And maybe you're stuffing sometimes if you like it. Go on. Maybe 275 in 2012
