So - follow up on our friend
She's home *PHEW* but it was close.
She had a hernia strangulate in her WLS scar. She was so ill after the operation they didn't think she was gonna make it. Her husband said they still have no idea why or where she was losing blood but she needed 4 transfusions. She is doing so much better and they sent her home. I'm not sure I'm happy with them not knowing why she was bleeding. Is that much bleeding post-op normal? And to not know where she was bleeding worries me. For now she's good and we hope she continues to get better. |
