I'll go out to Novi, but I don't know anything in the area - anybody have a suggestion? Any day preferences? I'd like a Friday or Saturday night, but then I assume most people would want one of those... chime in, anybody who wants to go.

When all of the West-Coast Dimmers get together, I imagine the vibe kind of like this, like they go out & get some pizza. And then, the next thing you know-it, they're break-dancing on top of the boxes. You know, it starts out a little fun and progresses to a little out of hand.

But (I'm thinking) the Motor City-Dimmers, as a group, are probably a little more dark & serious. Anthemic, but kind of subdued. Anyway, those guys are playing the Majestic tonight. You should consider meeting up there, even if not for a show. They have a trivia night on Wed. And bowling. And, in a few weeks, the Gossip will be playing there, which will also probably be a pretty good time as well.

The MI group that *does* get together... that would be me, Cheryl, and Ryder LOL.... usually goes to Chili's and Target. Not so "dark' as one might expect.

^Ok, but would you say that it -almost- has a "tragic" quality to it? Are you sure? Because that kind of makes me think of the reinvention of the Sebring into the Chrysler 200.

Sweet Tooth, would your group want to get together with the people who have been trying to arrange something on this thread? We just can't seem to get enough people to choose a date or place. I'm starting to think about just posting "I'll be at this place at this day and time if anyone wants to come by'...

There are a few gatherings around the Detroit area,
including dances and even a few hotel party weekends.

There used to be a few local clubs as well,
I'll do some research and get back.
