Default I'm going to Vegas in two weeks

I'll be in Vegas soon for 4 days of doing whatever the hell I want. 90% of that will probably involve buffets.

For those of you that have been to Vegas or know about it, please tell me the cool shit I need to do, eat, or drink!

Heart Attack Grill. Weigh in over 350 and certain burgers are free

Also, The Blue Man Group is a really cool show.

Default ^What about parking?

Do many of the casino-hotels still offer included duration-stay parking?

From when I last went, the Bellagio was the best both (Saturday-brunch/lunch) Buffet & pool scene (Saturday afternoon, pre-game day-drink). But, I'm sure, any for which you manage to score complimentary passes are worth a look. So, be sure to hit up your concierge relatively early in in your stay. Preferably, right when you check in. Especially if you're with a small(ish 4-5) group of guys.

The Casino nightclubs, however, I don't really think are generally such a great a value. Even including the free pass. Unless that's really your thing, what you go all-in for.

Same for the signature restaurants (e.g. Wolfgang Puck's, Bobby Flay's, ect..). Unless there's some particular one that you feel like you have to try,if you're a guy who's really into food. Not that it won't (generally) be good, perfectly good; but more cost-wise, as far as the value for what you actually get... It's not something you really have to come to Vegas for as much as that it's just the convenience of having a nice enough place for a bachelor gathering without actually leaving the casino.

For the shows, it's somewhat similar in terms of it depending on what you're most into. In my personal opinion. e.g. If you've always wanted to see Penn & Teller or Celine Dion or something very specific like that; then, of course, you're going to want to look at the schedules and ticketing ahead of arriving in town, to actually plan your stay around a certain show on a certain night. However, I think, even if you're more thinking along the lines of just seeing a-show, it's still worth it to browse the schedule & reviews of what's available on which nights. Just to have a basic idea, if not to actually get tickets. Because sometimes stuff can get sold-out as you get closer to the date. And sometimes there's a particularly good show which is necessarily less available (few showing times & seats) and cheaper.

To that end, and because it's Vegas, and because you can basically gamble anywhere 24/7, it's almost like you have to take care not to let that (just gambling wherever) overtake the focus of your schedule for the necessarily limited time you have there. Unless, of course, gambling's what you're really, really into and mainly why you're going. In which case you should make a point of staying where you want to most want to game.

I, personally, have never been to the (giant) Ferris-Wheel bar; but that's one thing I definitely want to make time for if I ever make it back that way.

Likewise; of course, I wouldn't recommend any strip clubs. Actually going to one. But. If you absolutely have to wind up some place like that, like if one of the guys in the group insists on doing that kind of thing, then consider Dino's as far as a dive night-out. As in, much less expensive drinks; more local, easy-going, approachable, fun crowd; karaoke, ect. And, it's right across the street from Olympic Garden(s'?). Which has a male revue as well.

And so, depending on how you might time it, wouldn't be so strange to catch a pre or post-game bachelorette party, that way.

Which, of course, you wouldn't do that. Intentionally, intending for it to work out that way. I mean, who does that?! Who would do something like that?!.

So, just something to keep in the back of your head.

I am back and I have survived Vegas. My feet are in incredible amounts of pain and it's worth every iota of it. Best. Place. To. Party. Ever.

Thank you for the tips everyone. I barely gambled, drank way too much, slept for a grand total of maybe 8 hours of 4 days, and had the time of my friggin life.

Ate at heart attack grill for free, ate myself into a coma approximately 90% of the time I walked by a buffet, partied, partied, partied some more at various bars / venues / strip clubs.

On the way to vegas I didn't need a seat belt extender, on the way back from vegas I had to ask for a seat belt extender. I'm assuming I did this trip right.

Now; was that a once in a lifetime thing, or are you going to look at going again sometime?
