Aw, he looks so cute and snuggly! Might have a little problem running from lions and what-not... Maybe he can just sit on them now?

Am I the only person interested in what search terms bigdog was using to come up with an image like that?

![]() Title: Fat Giraffe Name: Thomas Mangold Country: Germany Software: LightWave 3D This is one of two shots I did for a Paris based advertising agency. Both images were used in a campaign for Zeiss binoculars and illustrate their quality to enlarge the stuff you see by using them. Lightwave has been my choice to create these models. While the giraffe has been finished pretty fast, the horse and jockey were pretty difficult to model and texture. Took me quite a long time, but in the end it's been worth it. Background for the giraffe has been shot by Ebo Fraterman, while I take all the credit for the horse image. Both images were included in the Shortlist at this year's advertising festival in Cannes. found at http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=258549 by googling for "fat giraffe" |

Oh man, AnnMarie is gonna hate on me for what I'm thinking, but I DON'T CARE! Isn't this board about ACCEPTANCE! GEEZ! YOU PEOPLE!
Wait a minute... I actually don't feel that way anymore. It was just a passing phase. Great. Now I am no longer a target. For that reason.

Now, that person is really into fattening sentient beings. I'm not turned on by the pics but I find interesting the fact that the artist made them fat. Ok, as ConnieLynn said they were made to illustrate the quality of some kind of binoculars to enlarge the stuff. But now, seriously, the "normal" choice would have been to simply make them giant or something like that. Now, I wonder if they were trying to make all FAs buy the binoculars for... ahem... I don't know, when they go to the beach or something...

The horse isn't as real looking as the giraffe; somehow the giraffe is cute. It's missing knee dimples though
BigDog is right, it does have a certain Far Side quality to it. |

I think the horse reminds me of farm animal paintings from the Middle Ages. I'm not sure of the exact time frame, but I know I've seen similar ones of livestock made fatter than they would be.

Yep, my time frame was off. That picture of the cow was the type of thing I was thinking of.
Thanks for the artist names, Jes and Bigdog. |

Again, it's the fat plants here that catch the eye.
The leaves, the supple, wonderfully plump grass possessing such surprisingly curvaceous blades.... in this picture have truly awoken a sleeping giant in me, possibly pulling my mad lust forever toward Plantcore. However the artist's sky looks remarkably full and well fed too! What robust clouds! ![]()
