Size Appeal?

Hi there,

Has anyone ever bought from Size Appeal? They have some wicked cute stuff on sale, but I don't want to buy if it's crappy quality or customer service and that jazz.

While some of it is cute, I think it's fairly cheap, sized-small (think junior-plus-ish). I wouldn't pay full price unless I was DYING for it.

I have a dress of theirs from many years back that is still very nice, but a shirt I bought about 3 years ago.... POS in my opinion. It's a faux cross over top, and it doesn't fully cross over at the breasts. So there's this piece of fabric on the inside that's not sewn down, and moves all around when you wear it... think dickie.

Yeah, I don't know... if it's on sale or cheap on ebay, go for it. I wouldn't buy anything as a wardrobe piece.

And I REALLY wish this wasn't the case, they've had some cute things. I think if you're solidly within their sizes, too... probably not such a big deal. If you're squeezing into the top sizes (as I am), then the issues are more pronounced.

i bought one dress from them a couple of years ago, to wear to a wedding. it was cheap, crappy and ugly. which is why i've never even uttered the URL around here.
it was just one dress, though. maybe someone else will have better luck with them.

I bought a couple of items from them years ago.

Like Ann Marie says, the stuff is sized smaller and the quality is sort of a crap shoot.

I bought one halter top that has been a favorite summer item of mine or years and still holds up.

I bought a dress that I used as a tunic that was fairly cute but, it was stretchy polyester.

The other few items I bought from them have made their way into the trash heap or as my faithful painting rags.

Thanks ladies! I'll think I'll pass! Even if the stuff is on sale, I don't have the money right now to be wasting it on low quality stuff that is gonna look like poo when I get it.
