We could be losing our national anthem!
No, not Oh Canada, for better or worse.
Our other national anthem.....the hockey night in canada theme! Apparently there is ongoing litigation by the rights owners against the CBC, alleging they've been using it more than is covered by the contract...the contract is up for renewal, and all of CBC's proposals have included a quick deal to end the litigation, in a manner that the rights owners won't accept......who knows how next hockey season will sound?
