The original article states Romans was renting a room from Romero and they were co-workers. There was also a step mother living in the home. Not too untraditional as far as today's families go.

You know what that means, DaddyOh...translation: gay lovers with a sex dungeon in the basement. Hey-- this uninformed judgment game is fun!

What else do we think the two murdered men (who are obviously unable to defend themselves over any kind of wild speculation about their lives) might have been up to?

Hmm, you're reading a little too much into it. I haven't made any judgement or declared that X, Y, or Z happened in that house. All I did was point out in an obtuse fashion that the living arrangement was a little weird. Which it is. Do you disagree? I don't see many families with an extra, unrelated male living in their home, but, then again, I've only ever lived in Miami, FL and a small town in Minnesota, so my experience is limited.

Yeah, well I live out here in loony, liberal California and have actually seen with my own eyes people who have -- make sure you're sitting down -- tenants living in spare rooms in their houses! Apparently it has something to do with raising a bit of extra money to make ends meet, or something totally insane and degenerate like that.

Agreed with the "obtuse" part of your statement.

I was thinking more along the lines with names like Romans and Romero that maybe the kid was a mafia hit man and the two grown men just weren't "producing" the way they should have been *shrugs*

The father required the step-mother spank the child. That's strange enough.

There you go. I'm wrong. Having an extra person living in your house is perfectly normal. It's simply not common where I live and it's not something that was in my realm of experience. It is now, though.

Oh, and zinging me with my own word there as a post-script definitely showed your superior mastery of forums and the intarwebs. I'm humbled. Can we be friends regardless?

PS. The first part of this post was honest. The second part was my own attempt at a zing.

I don't feel bad. I think we both miss out equally on that one.

That's perfect. I have a strict "no sex with friends" policy.
