Oh man, Monique, honey, no you are SO not alone. The worst thing (two worst things, actually) was that I'd gone through such shit to get the time off of work so it was a huge PITA for everyone. Also, everyone kept calling to see how the surgery went. It was terrible. But I did finally have it -- and so will you. Safely.

I am very sorry for this temporary setback Monique. It is great however that the medical staff are right on top of your vital medical status, and would not ever put you at risk.

I have a new surgery date. It will be done on October 22nd. I think everything will be fine this time. My blood work came back with a much better level. They are just worried about blood clots so they will make me walk that same day...ouch. Stay tuned..

I received a call last Thursday October 15th from my doctor’s office. My doctor had an emergency and will be out of town so my surgery for October 22nd is canceled. It has now been moved to November 19th. I am not sure if that date will stick. My luck it won’t happen to January. Just another bump in the road, but I will keep you all posted.

Oh man, Monique. I know it feels like it will never happen. Remember mine? Rescheduled three times? Well now, two years out, those delays seem so inconsequential. I'll tell you what everyone told me -- "it will happen, and you will heal and you will love the results". I gotta say, they were right.

Well it didnt stick it is now going to be on December 3rd. I won't miss Thanksgiving and I will be home in time for Christmas. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Good lord, Monique, how did I miss this thread for so long? You absolutely amaze me by being such a positive person when you've gone through so much in just a short number of years. I can't believe time is flying by even faster then I thought it would. My Pre-op was changed from Nov 20th to Nov 24th. Nine days after that is the big day. Nervous, anxious, excited, nauseous are the first thing that comes to mind. I will be saying good by to a huge piece of me.
