I've gone there a couple of times. Its great. I also just learned of a place called Fat Fancy that opens once a month. Here's their website.

My ex used to shop there all the time when we lived in Portland a few years ago. They had nice stuff back then.

I went the www.Fatfancyfashions.com and on Twitter it says that they have a new lease on a building and there's a Grand Opening and Hairspray themed Dance Party on Dec. 5th

Anyone interested in a dance Party? I just recently moved to area and would love to shop AND meet you people!

Hey, that sounds like fun! Although, I'm curious, is it the original John Waters' version or the vastly inferior remake?

Er, at any rate, pencil Debz and I in! However, I went to their website and there's no mention of where and what time the shindig is. Fill us in, please!

Oh, and do we have to dress in vintage 60s attire?

Yeah, I only figured it out later when I asked him if you posted hereabouts and he told me your Dims' pseudonym. So, I'll just look at it this way: I've gotten to meet you twice now and it was nice to do so BOTH times.

It's perhaps the oldest locally owned plus size clothing store that I know of in Portland. They are located in the Hollywood district of NE Portland.

Their website is not as attractive as their actual store.

I have been tempted to walk into this store when I am passing it but all the clothes in the window keep me from being able to do it. I don't need clothes that are trying to hide my shape. Am I wrong? Have you been in this store and it's actually awesome?
