Default The Great Elbowing of 2016

So, Justin accidentally bumped into someone when he was where he shouldn't have been.

This warrants claims of violence against women?

The real scandal of this story is that it's a story.

Any thoughts, or is it not even deserving of your time?

Cute animal pics will suffice.

It shows the temper behind the "sunny ways" public image. Which is probably good, because being nice seldom is the sole ingredient in good government.

But he obviously needs to be more patient when his will is balked. I hope it is a learning experience.

True, it does show impatience on J.T.'s part, and I don't dispute that. He should not have crossed the floor.

As to temper, he was apparently heard to have sworn at those impeding his trek to grab the other member by the arm (*gasp*) in a fit of blinding rage (my words, but echoing the sentiment of reports on the incident), telling them to "get the f*** out of my way." (*double- gasp*)

Unparliamentary, to be sure, but if this kind of 'violence' is what can be expected from him in the throes of a seething fury (again, my words), perhaps anger-management counseling may not be necessary.

Mountains from molehills, tempests in teapots, this type of behaviour, and of sensationalism in the reporting thereof, certainly has precedent in the history of our government and our media.

Sometimes people just 'fuddle-duddle' up.

Edit: To me, the best part of of the P.E.T. clip at the beginning is what he utters as he turns away from the reporters. Somehow, the man mastered the art of combining arrogance and relatability.

I'm reminded of an old ad campaign for a soft drink (might have been Seven Up): "You don't have to be sweet to be good."
