But seriously, I don't know her nearly as well as many do here, but the vibe I'd been getting from her was that she was doing a bit of wondering exactly what she was doing at Dimensions (hopefully she realized that brightening a few hundred peoples' days was part of it!). I've seen a lot of people go through this after a while here, and take a bit of time away to get their thoughts in order. A lot of them then come back, although not always with the same approach as before. Some don't come back of course.

Anyway, I reallyreallyreallyreally.......................... ...reallyrealllyreallyreallly hope that Jes does come back, 'cause she's awesome. But in the end I hope even more that whatever she does, it works for her.

I'm with Edx, in the thought that this place can have some pressure-cooker aspects and it is good to take a break every once in awhile...now, of course, I have to check in with my "handler" to make sure everyone knows that I am not in some dangerous foreign country or some such....I do hope Miss Jes comes back after a rest time and keeps bringing her special form of perk to the boards...it is sorely and sadly missed! Anyhoo, I still owe her a cappucino beverage and I won't know where to meet her for it if she vanishes! Oh..if THAT doesn't get her back, I shaved my goatee...so I am less goat-like...sorta'! Maybe that will help?

Jes can still be emailed through her profile - just look up her profile and select "send message via email" (or something like that), and your message will be emailed to her directly.

And Cutey Chubb, I can't speak for Jes, of course, but as someone who's had to "take a break" from a site or two before, it's usually just a matter of realizing that your presence there is generating more discontent than happiness and satisfaction in your life. And when that happens, it's time to step back and regroup.
