Default Ironic Voter Fraud

Voter fraud rears its ugly head in the form of a Trump supporter.

A Trump support arrested for trying to vote twice -- the irony is beautiful!

Yet, you have claimed in the past that vote fraud never takes place. It is strange how you automatically dismiss all vote fraud charges against Democrats who favor Democrats, but even one allegation against a Republican and Trump supporter must be the truth.

Perhaps if you were not so blindly partisan; you would have more credibility?

Voter fraud is indeed vanishingly rare (so rare that it for all intents and purposes does not exist). The irony is that Trump created this case of voter fraud by ranting about nonexistent voter fraud.

I don't think anyone's said that voter fraud *never* happens. There goes deli again, erecting those straw men.

This is hella ironic though.

Are dead people really voting? I'm going to go on a limb and guess "no," but I do wonder what actions have led these rumors to arise.

I'll be voting and I feel like I'm dead from all the crap about our two less than stellar candidates that is being divulged in the media. Does that count? ☠️

Default ^Nowadays, much less likely; but:

It goes back to the GOP's deep resentment over Kennedy's legacy. He's held up as some paragon of virtue and real American values while Nixon's forever (mostly) cast as the goat. When Kennedy beat Nixon in 1960, it was very close and coming down to only Texas & Illinois. So, from the losers' point of view, it felt like (Kennedy's running-mate) Lyndon Johnson's then all-powerful political machine snatched Texas from them, while the Kennedy family's connections in Chicago (Mayor Daley) gave Republicans no less of uphill battle in Illinois, where some dead people did actually "vote"; although, given how Nixon's Presidency turned out, who can actually say for whom?

Obama, in many respects, marks some kind of continuity with as nationally revered a Democratic figure like JFK, whereas Clinton's campaign seems to echo the air of political-invincibility of then-future Presidents like Johnson or Nixon.

Dead people haven't voted since 1960.

But thanks to Republican voter suppression lots of living people won't be voting either.

Can you prove that? Why is it whenever opponents bring out “proof” of a person without ID; they always seem to get it before election day? It makes you wonder if the millions of dollars spent on lawyers fees would be better spent on helping people get ID's that lack them.

Its not just voter ID laws -- far from it -- apparently Deli hasn't been reading/watching/listening to the news lately. If he had he'd now about all the pending voter suppression law suits (including many where the court has indeed found malfeasance).

So the burden is on you to prove that statement. Prove the “lots of living people won't be voting either.”

Second, the cases you have cited are near the bottom of the federal courts. (Like district court level.) The only nation precedent issued by the US Supreme Court is the Indiana case in which the court ruled voter ID laws were constitutional.

Just as I have said it in the past as well. You are entitled to your opinions. Of course, you can't expect others to respect it anymore than just an opinion without verifiable facts. That burden in on you.

Actually, your mountain turns out to be an anthill. It turns out to be a mixture of opinion pieces by opponents of Voter ID Laws and lower court rulings that don't even survive intact at the appeal court level.

And,again the US Supreme Court has already created a precedent in the Indiana decision that said Voter ID Laws were constitutional.

It is strange how you have never made a constitutional argument as to why Voter ID Laws are unconstitutional. Since such laws apply to everyone there is no equal protection issues.

Is the unfounded liberal argument that voter ID requirement is somehow a racist tactic to suppress voters, is that liberal opinion itself a racist opinion, an opinion based on their ignorance or both?

Click this video link revealing what black voters think of liberal views of them.

No one is suppressing black or brown people from voting.

That's just a racist Democrat Party trope fabricated to hate monger, manipulating the unsophisticated into voting Democrat.

It is a perfectly logical argument that those arguing that black voters are somehow too stupid or lazy, (racist liberal rhetoric, not mine), to get an ID in this modern age of convenience is soundly based on racism, ignorance or both.

You obviously haven't been following the many court cases that have been moving forward over the last several months. GOP voter suppression is obvious to all whose minds haven't been poisoned by conservative bile.

Another case of actual voter fraud -- and guess what? Its another Republican Trump supporter.

A Republican woman admitted on Friday that she had voted for Donald Trump on behalf of her deceased husband, saying that she knew her late husband would have voted Trump anyway.

Audrey R. Cook said she believed she did nothing wrong by casting a vote for a dead man, but luckily, the law does not agree. The 88-year-old woman has been charged with election code perjury and violation of election code, both Class 3 felonies.
