My friend is gone

I got the call at around 4:15 this morning from his cousin that they lost him. Those of you that asked yesterday, things were going well or so we thought. Dustin said last night that Luke had a bowel movement and the dr.s were optimistic saying that it was the first thing to come back to someone when they have been in a coma..but it's also the last thing to go when someone passes. So, the later was true. His blood pressure dropped around 2:30 and he went code blue. His mom had signed DNR papers last week so they weren't able to rececitate him.

Please continue to pray for his family. This will be a hard time for them..and I'm sure his mom may experience some guilt for signing those papers, I know we did when it was my grandmother.

I'm so sorry, Misty. It sounds like your friend's family gave him every chance for the kind of life he would have wanted. They must have truly loved him to want only the best for him; I can only imagine how hard that decision was to make. It sounds like Luke has wonderful friends and family. He was a very lucky young man to have a friend like you.

Misty, I'm so sorry for your loss. It's hard enough to lose someone but especially hard when the person is so young. I know that things have been kind of rough for you lately so just know that you have my support if you need it. I'll say a little prayer for his family.
