We all know England will play Argenta at some point during the finals. Ah that is always a good game, though England was beaten by Northern Ireland a few months back, hardly a world footballing power.

In major tournaments we normally "get it together", we'll always play the big countries, brazil, france, argentina and put in an outstanding performance but we'll make a stupid mistake and loss it.

but as em sed we beat Argentina in the greatest friendly ever! Quality game

Ok, now that the draw has taken place, what are the chances of Australia and England advancing? I'd say that the US and Aus. will have a considerably tougher time than England. Groups C and E look rough.

Pah! good on the Aussies I reckon, the sporting achievements from your nation are indredible. I can't understand how there are enough decent athletes to field world class teams (and individuals) in so many disciplines. Per capita, is Australia the most successful Olympic performer? (medals per head of population) I love your country, especially now we have put you in your place (rugby & cricket

Still, England are perennial underachievers and I see no reason why 06 will be any different. We will look promising then come specatularly undone in the later stages. Great effort for Aus to get this far, we want Mr Hiidink (spelling) to come to United when he is done with your national team. Maybe he will weave some of his South Korea magic.

Well even though we lost the ashes, for the whole of the game it did wonders. In the Olympics, we are usually in the top five medal takers tally, and in alot of other sports, we kick ass.
