Pic or Video?

I seem to be very much preferring Video these days from the great and the beautiful from this site. To the point where I no longer even click on the photo sections too much. I’m sure video is harder to produce and upload, and a picture can often capture a beautiful moment...but from my point of view the more video you can do the better.

Anyone else have a preference?

The pictures that these fine BBWs create are noteworthy, but I still prefer vids, because they are more life-like and especially gives a better perspective as to their(BBW/SSBBWs) wonderful size...I guess that is the "FA" in me, although I have a great appreciation for beautiful women of all sizes, I just PREFER the larger ladies.
P.S. I LOVE Mandy Blake's site "herfirstfatgirl", because:
1. Mandy is a beautiful SSBBW
2. She has both vivid pics & vids
3. Most Importantly, the "size comparison" between Big Beautiful Mandy & her skinny "hot chicks" is a Big Turn-on...although the REAL "Hot Chick" is Mandy, to me!

Gosh yes, Mandy's site is extrordinary. The main feature is video and I have been a frequent subscriber. Wonder if she would think about doing some squashing with her hot skinny chicks? As a cartoonist, the stills are still my obsession... to nail the iconic moment. The technology used in A SCANNER DARKLY will soon be a commercial software package, 'Rotoshop'... Now that would be a Consumer Delight, an Aesthetic Commodity; A 3minute singing video by one of the Paysite Goddesses with a supporting cast of cartoon creatures... like a 'Snow White from Hell' starring Vivica!!

I prefer videos also. Photos are so 20th century ;-)

If I join a site and videos aren't uploaded often or if the site isn't updated regularly, I tend to cancel my subscription.

I think a paysite should be updated weekly, or at least a couple of times a month. Any less doesn't seem like good value to me.

I agree, video is the big thing these days. But just like with pictures, quality counts. I was sad when I joined a site a couple months ago and found that the videos were of low quality. You don't have to have an expensive video camera to produce good quality video.

I prefer videos too, not just viewing them but making them. I think vids are easier and a lot more fun to take than photos, and are a lot sexier. I know I feel sexier acting in a vid than posing for pics. I admit I was kinda self conscious at first when shooting movies, but I've come to relax and enjoy myself now and I really love doing them! And it shows, because based on the other websites I've seen, I have a much higher vid-to-pic set ratio than most models.

I enjoy making videos much more then taking stills. They are quicker, easier to edit and more effective. The only problem with video is that the comps I make usually aren't as good.

Actually, My favorite twosome(on the site) was with "Mandy & Philly"...it is probably the closest to resembling a legitimate "Squashing". If you replay the video, you can definately tell "Philly" is in distress while the Big Beautiful "Mandy"(333 lbs) is having her way with Philly, who is probably one-third the size of Mandy...I Love the contrast in size, and I'd take Mandy over Philly, AnyDay!...And to think "MOST of Society" would think "Philly" was the "Hottie".

Yes !! ... But !

I mean to say that videos do get me way easier started than pics - to the extent that a site with bad/no video content isn't exactly in a good position to see my subscription rebill or me coming back a few months later. Watching somebody in motion is a stimulating experience of a different kind ! OTOH great photos deliver the more iconographic experience, the more 'essential' view, so i don't see pics being a thing of the past and they are still quite important for me.

Video content can be, from the webmaster point of view, a tricky thing. Good video quality needs higher bitrates = bigger files = massive bandwidth consumption = considerably higher costs. But that's not the only crucial aspect with video... but trying to not get too long-winded here.

The best way to go IMHO is offering a HiRes and a LoRes alternative of each clip. But NOT two different .wmv versions. Even at a quite high bitrate like 1.5 Mbit/sec .wmv still looks seriously blurred. There are better mainstream codecs out, like h.264 as it is ported into Quicktime 7 which lets you encode at slightly below 1 Mbit/sec and will give you superior quality. In other words those files look better and save you serious bandwidth. You won't get DVD quality at such bitrates but nobody is expecting that. However i see girls going this dual-format wmv/mov route and they seem to be happy.
