St.Patricks Day

I heard a friend of mine is going to be visiting the area Jay AKA Mango and he might be able to join us for a little get togther for St. Patricks day.

I'm going to try to see about getting a room block at the Holiday Inn of Springfield NJ for Friday the 16th of March and Saturday the 17th of March.

I talked to the Sales office there and they can let us have the small room near the pool just like the Mini Bash and we could use the pool as well. I have a little concern about drinking at the bar then going for a late night pool party. I was thinking since the hotel has a pool function till 3 pm we could gather up like 5:30pm to take a dip then head over to the bar and restaurant for St. Pattys day drinks.

Anyway just an Idea if I get some positive feedback I will go with it.

Well, darn. That weekend I will be doing taxes in greater Boston and New Hampshire. It is a profitable weekend for me but I would rather be back in New Jersey. Everyone else gets to have fun and I work. But I help some friends out of their financial problems. There is some satisfaction in doing that, I admit. And I spend part of the time at Redbone's, a BBQ and blues place in Sommerville doing people's income taxes at the bar. The pulled pork is very good, but I'd still rather be in New Jersey.

What about the people that live South of Springfield, NJ? From Delaware & Pennsylvania's southern counties, it's only about a 2 hour drive.

We'd love to meet some new people at this event. C'mon, will ya drive a little further to have this kind of fun??
