Default Cellulite in men

Since I gained weight I observed to develope more and more a severe cellulite all over my body. As a man its really uncommon because cellulite is normally related to women. What are you thinking about ? Would it bother you to accept a man with cellulite ? Daniel

It wouldn't bother me if a man had cellulite. It would make me feel better about my own!
There are many different theories about what cellulite is and what the causes are but you're right that it is more common in women. A slim woman will usually have more cellulite than a fat man, so it's not just the manifestation of fat, contrary to something I once read. They reckoned that if you simply lost weight, your cellulite would disappear but that's not true.
Testosterone causes thicker skin and stronger, more finely meshed connective tissue in the skin, so men (who naturally have higher levels of testosterone) usually have less cellulite (no matter how fat they are). Toxins and sluggish circulation also play a part.
Like most things, the best way to improve it is by eating plenty of fresh, natural foods, cutting down on caffeine and cigarettes, taking regular exercise, drinking lots of water and making sure you get enough sleep.
And don't beat yourself up about it.

You are probably right. What I`ve read was that with growing amount of fat cells production of estrogen can increase even in man which causes cellulite. So it seems to depend on the amount of fat tissue. But Im lucky that it doesn`t bother you. Best whishes Daniel

That's very true. My BMI indicates that I'm quite underweight, and I'm pretty damn skinny, but I have cellulite all up on my thighs. It SUCKS.

This just goes to show that so-called 'professionals' don't have a stock answer. My detox book says that 'cellulite is created when there is an overload of estrogen-causing waste matter being transported away from [the] organs', so the more toxins in the body, the more estrogen is created to get rid of the waste and the more likely you are to develop cellulite.

Whatever it is, it's most likely linked to hormones.

Default dysbalance

in the meantime I learned that cellulite is caused by a dysbalance of testosterone/estrogene relation. The lower the testosterone levels the more sufficient is the influence of estrogen on your fat- and connecting tissue and of developing cellulite - in both, men and women. So that could explain why my cellulite is focused on thighs, hips and ass.

I'm a fat woman and I don't have much cellulite. I suppose that doesn't really make much sense.

I don't understand why anyone would find cellulite unattractive.

Cellulitis is an infection, which can be exacerbated by high blood sugar levels, reduced immune function, and possibly the vascular changes of diabetic complications.

Cellulitis has nothing to do with cellulite.

Sorry but I believe that there is not great a deal to make...
that depends peoples: Very large people will never have cellulitis and thin people will have some !
In more I don't find that you have much of it, your belly is very beautiful like that !
