Ok.. so I rave and rave about Clinique's makeup all the time. Well it seems that ANY liquid-based foundation is making me break out like a 12 year old chocoholic! So, does anyone have any suggestions for foundation that covers fairly well but doesn't cause you to break out or feel oily or nasty all day? I'd really appreciate it
(If it doesn't cost an arm and a leg, that would rock, too.. LOL!)Thanks ![]() Melina |

Have you tried MAC's Studio Fix? It comes in a powder compact, and has medium to full coverage-- runs about 25 USD, I think.

Biotherm's "Light!"
Works well for my oily combination skin... edit: ops. I looked at their site and it seems it's out of production ![]() I would suggest biotherms foundations though. Last edited by Suze : 10-31-2007 at 02:04 PM. |

I use a cream to powder foundation. I find the cheaper ones are almost as good or better than the expensive ones. My favorite is Max Factor. Had been using Clinique and Mac but did not like either of those. For $7 it is worth a try... Hope this helps.

Borghese's Hydro-Minerali in the black squeeze bottle. It is ALL I use. There is no better foundation on the face of this earth. And, you can get it cheaper on ebay than at the department store.

Ok so I talked to my female co-worker who has perfect skin and she says she uses the Studio Fix compact.. so, since Tooz mentioned it, I'm going to go to the mall after work and exchange my Clinique foundation for that stuff (I love that you can exchange Clinique stuff even if you try it and hate it. Its fabulous.) .. I'll let you know how it works out.
![]() Thanks for the wonderful suggestions. ![]() *HUGS* Melina |

i like smashbox foundation. sometimes i use their photo finish make-up primer alone and you don't even need foundation because it keeps you nice and matte so that your skin looks better. if your skin gets very oily in summer like mine try their anti -shine anti- brilliance. i wish i'd had it earlier last summer but hey...

I use mineral powder over a moisturizer because I have very sensitive skin.
