i live with most of my family and aunts and uncles live only a couple miles away from me! sometimes its great and sometimes i need a break!!!!..haha!

After moving here in January, I am now about 3,000 miles away from my loved ones, which is also the town where I lived from about 12-13 years old on.

I live about an hour or so away from alot of my family. However, that will be changing (and greater distance between us)when I move to the east coast late in the year.

I Live in the house i was born in. Lived in this town my whole life.. (can't wait to leave!!) my family is all scattered around the country, but the closet ones are on martha's vineyard, a nice 40 minute boatride away. The farthest ones are in california, 3,000 miles away..

I'm about 220 miles from where i grew up. About 210 miles from one brother, 990 miles from another brother and about 2000 miles from my parents.

About 3-1/2 hours from my mom. one sister, and the house I grew up in...the other sister is about 4+ hours away, in the same direction. The older of my two sisters lives across the street from my mom, in the house she said she wanted from the time she was a little girl.

I grew up in Colorado (all my family is there), and I have lived in So California for 16 years now. Daughter and her family moved from California last year and now live in Ohio. Guy on the other hand is a native of Southern California, and therefore lives fairly close to where he was raised.

I go back 'home' all the time, never have to worry about hotels or rental cars...my sisters always come get me and we have lots of sleep over parties!!!

According to MapQuest, I am approximately 1372.47 miles away from the house that I grew up my first 11 years of life (or 20 hours or so driving distance). Right now, I am approximately 35 miles (or 35 minutes or so) away from where my mother currently lives. I am 10 minutes away from my brother. I am about 1000 miles away from where my father lives, but I don't care to even think of him, so screw that. And I believe all the rest of my family is dead.

I am about 360 miles from where I grew up about a 6 hour road trip. Most of my family is still in my hometown but I have a brother in Fla and I haven't seen him in years. I love where I live especially our first house we just bought

but I hate being that far from my family.

I live two towns over from where I grew up.

Now, I have one brother living in the same town as me. One brother living one town over from me. And my thid brother living in the northern part of my state. WEven my nephew who is living at college is living in the same state as the rest of us. We all are very happy living in Jersey.

I currently own the house I grew up in, so I've yet to leave home! (LOL!)

My Dad lives 30-40 minutes away, my older brother and older sister live three+ hours from me in different directions. My youngest brother currently lives in New York City.

I have another younger brother who lives in Virginia.

My parents, brothers and sisters all live 150 to 180 miles from me, this is also the area I grew up in. Far enough away where I can have my own life but close enough that if they need me I can be there.

I live in the city I was born in. I did move about 30 miles away for several years, but moved back when my grampa died. My parents live here. My only sibling (older brother) was in the Air Force for 20 years and retired in Colorado Springs. I wish he lived here. I love living near my parents. I also moved a husband out here to Ohio from Wyoming. His parents don't like that, but I don't care! ha!

I've lived in the same town all of my life, except for the year and a half when I moved one town over. I live about 10 blocks from the house I grew up in. I live in a big apt. building now and my mom and my brother live on the floor below mine. The only other family that I really have is my cousin and her brother that live in Austria. I have a very small family. I do have some cousins, etc. but I am not close to them and don't really know exactly where they live.

My father was a career military man. (Air Force) We moved often and there really never was a place that was *home*.
When he retired, we did a short stint in Tampa, Fla. and then moved out to Santa Rosa, Ca. I lived there for about 7 years, then kept the gypsy blood going by moving from place to place.

In the last 10 years I've lived in N. Carolina, Kentucky, Mississppi, back to California, and then back to Kentucky.

My parents live in the same apartment complex as me, (really too close) and my brother is across town in a half-way house for his illness. This is all the family I have outside my husband.

His family is in central MS and we travel there at least once a year to visit.
