Default Is it just me? (Hostess Shortbread cookies)
I got a pack of Hostess Shortbread cookies today and not only are they grainy, they have very little flavor. Milk didn't help them, nor did coffee--on the contrary the beverages made the cookies seem even grainier and less flavorful.

I'm wondering if anyone else has any experience with these cookies and if, maybe, I just got a bad pack.

That is a bummer, I love shortbread cookies but I usually make my own. There is one brand I have purchased in the past though; Walkers. They ruled and were very delish.

Yes, Walkers are the next best thing to home made. Home made is definitely best, though, and very simple.

For sure, Walkers are darn good. I just saw the Hostess ones today and wanted to try them. My throat still feels dry and scratchy from having eaten a couple of them earlier in the day.
