Okay, I have yet another photo question.
Does anyone out there use a remote to take pictures? I have looked at several on ebay, but I am not convinced that they will work. I was hoping to find one with a wire so that I know it would get the signal...but at the same time I need for the damn camera to auto focus. I am trying my best to learn how to take pictures of myself...and the auto timer is great...but I have to reset the thing every time. Thanks...and hopefully someone will have a few ideas ![]() |

I have a Nikon D70, a digital SLR. It's a real pain in the butt trying to get good photos even with a tripod. And then I only get *one* and then I have to go back and reset the thing. I'd like it to take several consecutive photos if possible. |

The wireless is less expensive, but after market cords can be found around the web
Nikon-MC-DC1 http://www.amazon.com/Nikon-MC-DC1-R.../dp/B000A22V6Y Nikon-ML-L3 http://www.amazon.com/Nikon-ML-L3-Wi...1181678&sr=1-2 With the IR remote you can get farther away from the camera. The cable is usually 3 ft. w/o an extension (extra cost IF available)

With IR you need to aim-but its not surgery. Think TV remote control.

It sounds like the wire would be good for somethings and the remote others. To bad they don't make a sound activated one that way I could hide the remote behind my back for some shots too ![]() |
