Yes it's toomuchloveitis.

Basically, whenever i have a lot of contact with a girl, like see and speak to her regularly, more than i would usually do for that person, i start to fall in love with her.

I think it's the same as what Yossarian has (even though he is fictional, but i have no other comparison to make me feel normal so shutup!), as he frequently says he's in love with various different girls.

There's this one girl in particular. I talk to her most nights on msn, see her pretty much everyday at uni or outside of it, and i'm really starting to like her, definitely i'm begining to love her.

But i'm afraid about what to do. Cause before i've gone and told a girl i love her pretty soon, and i know thats stupid but it's also not cause who doesn't like being told there loved, especially by me!?!

But i was just wondering what i should do. I have a troubling dilemma, and i don't wanna screw this up because i really like her.

Should i just leave it a little longer, get to know a little more (i know her pretty well anyway) and then ask her out or just tell her i love her and see how she feels and where things go?

Any feedback much appreciated (though not some comment about this probably being in the wrong place, it's just i had no idea so again shutup!)

I think you should probably actually date her before you tell her that you're in love with her. If she only sees you as a friend and you confess that you love her, you are setting yourself up for, at the very least, some intense awkwardness. And if she doesn't return your feelings or has no romantic interest, you're putting her in a really tough spot. Start by asking her out. Date a little. Get to know her on a more intimate level. Then, after this has gone on a while, you can let your feelings be known.

I mean, what would you accomplish by telling someone who is only a friend that you love her? What do you hope might happen? That she'll agree to date you? That she'll insist you elope immediately? That she'll jump your bones then and there?

And, more importantly, why are we in Hyde Park right now?

In the future, I'd put a thread like this in The Lounge. It's for general off topic stuff, and there have been many similar. If your topic had a size acceptance theme, it would go on the Main Board. Fat sexuality, weight gain, feeding, etc. all go on the Weight Board. Hyde Park is for political or otherwise controversial topics that are likely to cause a lot of debate and fighting.

I think the rest of the boards are pretty self-explanatory. When in doubt, though, PM a mod.
